Rifle and Pistol Range Rules and Regulations

Do not use the range if it is closed or the Range Safety Officer is not present on the firing range.
Always keep the muzzle pointed up or down range when on the firing line direction.
keep your firearms unloaded when not in use.
Use correct ammunition for firearms. Target ammunition only.
Know how to use and handle your firearm safely.
Protective safety glasses and hearing protection are encouraged but not required when on the firing range.
Treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
Unload and case firearms before leaving the range.
No alcohol is allowed on the range complex.
No more than two people are on a firing point when the range is hot.
No horse play or disrupting other shooters on the firing line or in the ready zone.
An adult must accompany the youth on the firing line.
Always follow the Range Officer’s commands or leave the range.
Anyone who sees an unsafe act can call for a CEASE FIRE on the range.
Rifle calibers of 5.56/223 up to 7.62/308 are the only calibers allowed to fire at steel targets no closer than 100 yards. Larger calibers must use paper targets at all ranges.
