Administrative Details CMP 3Position and NRA Silhouette Matches:
Registration: Opens at 7:30 AM with an estimated run time of 2 hours per firing order.
Safety Briefing: From 0800-0830. Participants and the Family representative must be present.
Firing order (FO) start times: 1st FO – 0830, 2nd FO- 1030, 3rd FO – 1230, 4th FO – 2:30. Additional firing orders will be added if needed.
Governing Rules: will be registered and sanctioned by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). Scorecards will be issued at registration. Rule books may be found here.
Competitors are responsible for being aware of the match program and all safety regulations contained in the applicable rulebooks or announced at the morning brief.
Fees: CMP and NRA matches – $25.00. Please pay with a check or cash.
Courses of fire:
1. CMP 3 Position match consisting of Prone, sitting, or kneeling, and standing in that order. Each record fire phase will consist of 10 shots in 10 minutes for slow fire and two stages of 5 shots in 20 seconds for rapid fire. Only Seniors will shoot the rapid-fire phase.
2. NRA Silhouette rules for Smallbore rifle will be used.
Certificates: Certificates will be provided for competitors who complete the match.
Entries: Register at the range upon arrival.
ECI’s: Empty Chamber Indicators or Weed Eater String inserted through the barrel with an open receiver must be in when you leave your vehicle. Weed-eater string will be provided at the registration table if you do not have an ECI.
Classifications: Sporter Rimfire
Rifle Class: T-Class (Telescope or Aperture Sights), O-Class (open Sights)
